Title: Trying to keep my head held high Post by taraann on Jul 16th, 2007, 6:43pm But these last few days esp have been hard. I've been trying to immerse myself in this avon thing, and house hunting. But damn it's been tough. I ended up in the ER at 4am andit was a waste of time (big surprise). I need some sleep and a break. :-[ Sorry for the whine... but I guess not sorry enough not to hit the post button ;) |

Title: Re: Trying to keep my head held high Post by 1stdonna on Jul 16th, 2007, 7:36pm Hey you...... Avon's a tough nut to crack. It's been done for so long. What you need to do is come up with a new approach. Now, let's see...if I were doing this again, I might.......try leaving brochures in the office of a mobile home park....Fla. has plenty of those. Stop by offices and leave them with the front desk or ask if you could leave some in their lounge. Or in the waiting room of Doctors offices.......especially if you are acquainted with the recptionist. I'll try to think of more and IM you. I pray for you to have PFD'NN. |

Title: Re: Trying to keep my head held high Post by taraann on Jul 17th, 2007, 11:03am Thanks so much guys. So much is stressing me right now and it's not helping. Looking for a house before school starts (with so little money) is a big one! We of course don't want to change school districts shortly after school starts and I'm afraid that might happen! My sis and bro inlaw are struggling hard right now and they are leaning on us VERY hard too. We just can't do it all! So little money for 9 ppl ya know?! I love that I can "dump" on you guys, I really appreciate it! |

Title: Re: Trying to keep my head held high Post by DennisM1045 on Jul 17th, 2007, 11:33am I can relate to feeding a lot of mouths from too little pay check ;) Keep plugging Tara. It'll all work out in the end. I see a lot of kids change school districts shortly after start up of the new year. They'll adapt. Our kids are stronger than we like to think they are. So, one step at a time. Don't worry about switching districts till ya figure out where you're going. Good luck and keep us posted. -Dennis- |

Title: Re: Trying to keep my head held high Post by artonio7 on Jul 17th, 2007, 1:48pm Taraann, Things have a way of getting better. You of all people know from so many experiences that this will pass into a distant memory. You have the incredible gift of somehow finding the bright and shining lining under the darkest cloud. I am sorry to hear that it's particularly bad for you at this time.... pain sux. You will be in my thoughts and prayers and as always... you know my number if and when you want to talk.... (Venting permitted)... with warm regards, Tony |
