Today marks 36 yrs. of being wed to the woman that has made my life worth every moment good or bad.

No congrats please as I know that to find, fall in love, marry and get through the early marriage issues such as separation due to military deployments, jealousy, control, and career pressures quickly and easily is not something to be congratulated for.

To be so blessed is surely a gift from a much higher source.

I want to share my happiness with you my family and to wish you all a beautiful day and I hope and pray that each and every one of you will have a special moment today and be able to reflect on the wonderful thing that this existence is.

Seriously though.... It is so incredible when two people who are meant for each other find each other. It's an absolute miracle when you think of the odds. When you consider all of the daily choices, sacrifices and self ego control one must exercise to maintain and nurture the relationship is mind boggling.

I had a friend "Roy" who was absolutely and irrevocably in love with his wife of 46 years... Seeing him and Jane together was like watching two young people who just fell in love. I asked him what he thought was the key to his successful marriage. He said, "Tony... after 46 years of living with a person... you figure out what really pisses them off.... and you just don't do any of those things."

....it worked for him and Jane and it sounds like it's working for you and Linda too.

I'll have a piece of cake to celebrate your day.
