Tell her not to mix vodka with lemonade!!!

My daughter broke her leg in the Dominican a few years ago - and blamed it on the lemonade that she put in her vodka!!!!

I have a bottle of Kazakh vodka from a friend who used to live there.

I'm thinking of using it to start my grill . . . . .it certainly TASTES like gasoline!

Sarah either mixes her vodka with cranberry or cranapple juice or she drinks it straight from the freezer.  She said that vanilla flavored vodka is good.  Just give me Irish whiskey any day, either with a bit of water or on the rocks.

Carolyn if you come to the convention next year I'll bring you a bottle of Tullamore Dew

You deserve it for all the pictures and the joy you've brought me with them  :)

Who said she had to bring you?!  :P

You know I love you really Jimbo so you and Carolyn will just have to come to an agreement about the Scotch or Irish - and I'm sure you'll get used to the Irish LOL

Don't know if I've tried Tullamore Dew.  I have tried Bushmills Original, Powers and Jameson before settling on Redbreast.  I really like the single pot Irish Whiskeys.

Depending on where next years convention is and what my daughter is off doing with her life................. (she's my house sitter/animal takercareof)

I picked that one because its the nearest distillery to where my family are from and also because it used to come in litle stone bottles when I was a kid and I loved the noise it made chugging out of the bottle ... so much so that I happily chugged a bottle down the sink and refilled it with water several times to do it again.

Needless to say my dad and his slipper taught me the error of my ways  ;;D

(You can have whatever Irish whiskey you like though!)

Dont' let him fool you Helen.  He gets me a fifth of Redbreast every year for Christmas and I might get *two* drinks out of it before he finally finishes it off (and this doesn't look as bad as it sounds, I have to be in the *mood* to drink whiskey and the mood doesn't strike very often), usually several months later.
