God only knows what's for dinner at my house tonight.  It's hubby's tennis night, so it's leftovers of some sort.

I LOVE macNcheese!  Hubby, doesn't, so we eat it maybe once a year.

Send me the recipe.  I looks like a "tennis night" meal.

Sandy

Couldn't eat it myself but I made Quiche Lorraine, New potatoes and a salad for the kids followed by Chocolate cake.

I had some soup 'cos my face looks like a flippin' hamster! I've got some sort of gum infection and I will have to see the doctor for antibiotics in the morning. Fingers crossed they don't send my stomach doolally again but come what may I WILL be in Richmond!  ;;D

NOT if it means a threat to your health.

Don't make me turn this car around, missy.

I agree with Bill....

If you in poor health, please take care of yourself first and foremost.

As for dinner...all leftovers have been eaten up at my place and I really don't feel like cooking...so my plan is to call and have Italian cheese fries delivered from Arbuckle's just as I'm getting off from work today to take home for the kids and I.  I have a bucket of Neopolitan Icecream for them for dessert....

Just a chicken Caesar salad (with a few anchovies for me only) and some crusty whole-wheat bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping.

Too hot here to cook.  We're grilling tomorrow with friends, naturally.  Burgers and brats, flavored with gunpowder--the kids will be earnestly trying to blow themselves up.

Man, I love the 4th.   ;;D

Best,

George

Jane is having a colonoscopy on Thursday and as such is stuck with a clear liquid diet for the 4th, so tonight I did a little creative cooking.

I split some chicken breasts and filled them with a mixture of butter salt, lemon pepper, garlic powder, oregano and Tony Chatcher's seasoning mix then skillet fried them in the butter mixture.  Leeky Mashed Potatoes - boiled potatoes and leeks in chicken broth and mashed them with a little black pepper.  Aaparagus and a handful of pecans broiled together in extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and a pinch of cayenne pepper.

Sandy, I will send you the recipe. I will have to traslate it first. :)

Helen, I bet that Quiche Lorraine was delicious! :) I think I'll "forget" to mention about chocolate cake or Timo will be on the next plane back to UK! [smiley=laugh.gif]

Turts, I checked; Eetu and Kasper are both happily back in their cage. Naturally I have no idea what they have been up to during the night... ;)

George, I just love chicken caesar salad! I haven't had one for ages, but I must make some again. :)
