Thanks for checking in Carl :)

As a wise lady from Delaware told me recently on the phone....It's not necessary for real friends to talk to each other all the time or to see each other. What is necessary is to be able to pick up where you left off.

Keep up the good fight Bro......Tim

What can I say? I'm slow... and I just typed a longass message and lost it. (Thank you Mr Gates!!!)

Let's see... My job with the psycho finally ended, badly. I am just glad it is all over. Now trying to land another gig, health permitting.

I went through another massive insomnia cycle that freaked everyone out. In a 16 day period I totalled 15 hours sleep. My neighbors said everyday I came outside I looked worse and worse. My Doc even put me on Halcion which, worked for awhile and then stopped working altogether like the Elavil did in '05. A couple of weeks ago I started getting delirious, and then slept 4 hours. The next day, 12. So now I am on again/ off again sleeping.
I've been losing weight, but it isn't fat I'm losing. Not sure if it is testosterone or insomnia related, but my testosterone is so low the topical gel does nothing, and so I have to go every 2 weeks to get a Depo-testosterone shot. Suffering major chronic fatigue and once again migraines. The CH's have backed off a bit, but still getting hit - which next month marks one year of this cycle. In September, I'll have been suffering CH 20 years. How the fuck did I make it?

On the bright-side of things, I finally got a massive harddrive to help with the Soylent radio shows(200 gigs of MP3's) , and 100gig is for nothing but studio recording. I just started some work, but my hands aren't cooperating and keep wanting to fall asleep on me. What a drag it is getting old indeed.

Other than that, just working on the savenetradio campaign, since the Copyright Royalties Board is trying to put the screws to everyone by jacking the rates up on licensing. A blanket license used to be $650 dollars a year. They're trying to jack it up to 75 grand, and basically wipe out all internet radio. What will happen though is, if the broadcasters equality act isn't renewed, stations will die, and then be reborn under new networks playing ONLY independent artists.
I am fighting hard for this, since it is a passion of mine.

Oh yeah, my Doc knows I HATE antidepressants, and I told him after being on them for years that, my problem isn't chemical imbalance. It is normal human reaction to situations and is healthy. Anybody in my shoes would get depressed every now and then.
Well, he talked me into trying Cymbalta, as it isn't just for depression, but helps for coping with pain. I caved in and tried it. He gave me 2 months worth of samples. When I ran out, I tried to get the script filled. Insurance won't cover it and it is too new to have a generic. So, I go back to the doc on Friday and hopefully he can stock me up on Cymbalta. If not, fuckit.

Anyway, that's enough out of me for awhile. Here's a pic of my lil buddy who is getting BIG. He takes ME for a walk, not the other way around.

Did your radio station go quiet yesterday Carl? I thought about you when I heard about the protest.

We stayed online. As part of my protest, and also to get tuned into new independent artists, I have declared July 1st as "Independent's Day" and will be spinning only indie artists, and so far a couple of other shows have jumped on board for the 'Independent's Day" theme. I've made alot of good contacts with bands, and have put alot into this coming sundays show.

I always have listeners BEG me to go into overtime and usually oblige. However, this sunday I was in enough pain that I cut the show an hour early. I just couldn't make it through.
I have been emailing friends and relatives and asking them to go sign the petition or call their state rep. to help save internet radio. If anyone here would like to sign the petition go to:

Thanks Matt.

I just got hi-jacked.  I'm on the air LIVE until Ian gets his ass in from rehearsal. If he doesn't show, I am on til 2am.  :-/

I found out I was going on 20 minutes beforehand.
This is what is known as a cyber-airwaves hi-jack.

We have never chatted before but I thought I would chime in and through my 2 cents in about Cymbalta.I had a bad experience with it and had a hard time coming off it.Bad withdrawal symptoms. But what don't work for some works for others.Good luck to ya.
