Title: I'm off to see the wizard.... Post by BarbaraD on Jun 21st, 2007, 9:50am Yep, I'm off to an audit with the IRS. Wish me luck. It's a 3 year one and I THINK I've got all the i's dotted and the t's crossed, but ...... ya never know.... I'm leaving a trail of breadcrumbs so maybe I can find my way back. Hopefully there will be enough left of me to FIND the way home. :) Oh well, I needed to lose weight anyhow (and the rear end was the first place it needed to go). Anyhow, if ya'll don't hear from me for a while, you'll know I'm licking my wounds... Hugs BD PS Sends some vibes out for my client - they know they're gonna owe some money, but just hope it's no more than I've estimated... don't want them shocked any more.... |

That woman was something else -- GOt her on one thing. She didn't like the way I added up some invoices so SHE added them up herself and came out with MORE than I had -- the other two years she took MY figures :D. Still got some stuff to PROVE to her, but I think that can be done. ONly lost about half my rear. She knew every damn auditor I'd ever dealt with at the IRS. One had a heart attack (poor baby - I may have had a little to do with that). Anyhow I was totally sympathetic and told her what to tell him to do when she saw him -- she sent him an e-mail while I was sitting there (don't laugh - I think it helped - she actually liked him). And his boss actually asked me for a job when he retired - I retired about the same time so that didn't come to pass. ::) Anyhow, she gave a little slack with old home week, but she was tuff. Now I've just got to come up with some invoices (didn't take the cancelled checks - give me a break!). Oh well - think that can be handled - it ain't what you know it's WHO you know or who's arm you can twist. Right now I'm gonna take my nice night meds and go take a long nap. I'm tired..... Post by Jonny on Jun 21st, 2007, 7:21pm Good for you Mom!!! :-* I have a bit of IRS good news myself ;;D The big nosed Jew trial lawyer (he has statues of huge noses in his office, so dont give me shit) that I sent after my payroll company recieved a check from them for the $46,000 they stole from me. It looks like the letter he sent them about getting the IRS involed to put them in jail worked just fine ;;D They also said that they would pay all fees...lawyers, accountants, penilties and intrest. When I got his call the depression and stress just drained out of my body the very same way a CH does when it stops! :'( ;;D Man, what a fucking ride that was!!!! Sleep well, Mom....you deserve it! :-* |
