Those who know me have come to realize that I will rarely let on when shit is hitting the fan.

I've been chronic for over three years and I have had my ups and downs and have learned to cope with the help of many here. I also do not take any meds anymore.

I am not a person who asks for vibes or talks about how rough things are because for me it is about dealing with an attack then dealing with the rest of my life.

Well shit has hit the fan like it hasn't in over a year.
I had become accustomed to cycles within cycle having high and low periods but I haven't gotten whacked this hard and this often in ages.

One particuliar person called me this morning who heard through the grapevine that O2 has not been as effective and that my mask broke. She offered to drive an hour + to bring me one.

I of course declined as I can go old school style and ice it or kick it with caffiene and just huff straight from the tank. In addition, I feel that there are people worse off and that is not meant as me being proud or trying to sound like a big shot.

Well this evening around 8pm I come back from picking up formula for my Hannah and there is Pep sitting in her car in my driveway.

Holy CHit!!!!!
I nearly broke down in tears.
She was ready to just drop it on my stoop and leave.

Unbelievable!
What a friend!!

She got to meet my wife and we chatted over a nice cup of coffee as her and my wife discussed what a stubborn ass I am [smiley=laugh.gif]

Are you saying you have no mask at all Eric? Breathing it straight from the tank would indicate that is what you meant...

If you are then you are indeed one stubborn man for not asking. ::) Glad Patti was there and Rori had the "unstubborness" to ask. Sheesh.

Brought tears to my eyes ! ( both the vision of Pep sitting in E's driveway with an O2 mask and the vision of E huffing directly from the tank ... )

In a similar vein, Chuck reduced me to tears when he, while taking 10-12 hits per day himself, would offer to take some off Daniel when he was getting hit hard, and genuinely meant it !

Only a clusterhead would do so.

oh fer criminy's sake..

So having experienced enough stubborn clusterheads in my few short years, what else do you do when someone insists... "i'm fine". E - you were SO busted.

anyways... I thought you were pissed at first when I saw you.... but I just kept hearing Rori's "roar" in the back of my mind. She's got a big voice for a little person.
