I received a file this morning from one of my customers, that would not open. Got a message saying the drawing I received "was not valid".

I called my customer, who was not in at the time, and left a voice mail message telling him of the problem.

I was just copied on an e-mail message from my customer, who wrote the message to the engineer about the file. He was telling the engineer "listen to this message", and was able to attach MY VOICE MAIL message to his e-mail message.

As I said, I'm a computer dummy. I had no idea this was possible, but I've learned a very valuable lesson.

Be careful, be VERY careful about any message you may leave on someone's voice mail!

nope, i still can't read my emails on my roadrunner account that i pay for. hang in there!

You can embed or attach most anything you want in an e-mail. You just need the appropriate application(s) to open and read it. that sound attachment could probably be read and played back by Windows Media Player (WMP), or Real Player. Or Kplayer on Linux.
Even if you encrypt something for privacy. The person on the other end can always make it public. For that matter they can edit it so that it says something completely different.
So be careful out there. they are out to get you. Especially Mac and Microsoft users.
They are after all, really out to get you.
