Title: South Carolina Fire Post by Ghost on Jun 20th, 2007, 8:57am I had to take a day to gather myself. I am sure you have all heard about this, but I needed a friendly place to get some shoulder space. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/19/us/19cnd-charleston.html?ex=1197864000&en=3cb3850dde57f14a&ei=5087&excamp=OVGNsouthcarolinafire I didn't know any of them personally but I know why they went back in. If there is even a small chance to save someone you just do it and pray you make it home. I hope to just send a few extra vibes to there families and friends. Mike :'( :'( |

Title: Re: South Carolina Fire Post by JDH on Jun 20th, 2007, 10:48am Each and everyone of them is a hero...may they rest in peace :'( I'll never forget the footage of the World Trade Center when everyone was running away from the building and the Firefighters were running right into it. That's got to be the most courageous thing I've ever seen. Jim |
