I had to take a day to gather myself. I am sure you have all heard about this, but I needed a friendly place to get some shoulder space.

I didn't know any of them personally but I know why they went back in. If there is even a small chance to save someone you just do it and pray you make it home.
I hope to just send a few extra vibes to there families and friends.

-- Capt. William "Billy" Hutchinson, 48 (30 years)

-- Capt. Mike Benke, 49 (29 years)

-- Capt. Louis Mulkey, 34 (11½ years)

-- Engineer Mark Kelsey, 40 (12½ years)

-- Engineer Bradford "Brad" Baity, 37 (9 years)

-- Assistant engineer Michael French, 27 (1½ years)

-- Firefighter James "Earl" Drayton, 56 (32 years)

-- Firefighter Brandon Thompson, 27 (4 years)

-- Firefighter Melven Champaign, 46 (2 years)

God Bess Them ALL.

When I'm called to duty God

give me strength to save a life
whatever be its age

Help me to embrace a little child
before it is too late
or save an older person from
the horror of that fate

Each and everyone of them is a hero...may they rest in peace :'(

I'll never forget the footage of the World Trade Center when everyone was running away from the building and the Firefighters were running right into it. That's got to be the most courageous thing I've ever seen.

I heard about this last night while driving on the radio,it broke my heart to hear of what happened to these men. May the big guy above watch over their families and loved one's.

Yes, Mike, I've been following the news on it. It's tragic. So many good men who were all well-trained and experts at their jobs. God Bless them, and God bless you for doing the same job.

A true horror it is and I saw so much sadness there but also so much love from so many. :'(
