Post by Callico on Jun 15th, 2007, 12:07am I followed Paul by listened to the clip of Pavrotti in Paris in 1998, probably one of his finest performances with a live orchestra and one of the finest opera conductors in the world and enjoyed Pau's performance much more. There is just something about following a dream. I hope he is able to get the right management and training. I think he can really go places. I know I will watch for his recordings if he gets that far. Jerry |

That was the best I have ever heard Nessun Dorma sang and within Opera looks and size aren't so important - the voice is everything so I do believe he will make it to the top. He deserves it too - he seems like a really nice young lad |

Her name is Hayley Westerna and has the voice of an angel. She sang with the group Celtic Woman. She had recorded Dell'Amore Non Si Sa with Andrea Bocelli....beautiful!!!! Keep us posted on how Paul Potts is doing when you hear anything and thanks Jonny for turning us on to him! |

I guarantee it...it's just meant to be. Whether he wins this particular contest is irrelevent. I hope for his own happiness he does...however, it will have nothing to do with determining his fame and success. I was not a fan of opera...I think Im becoming one. I don't know who's "great", etc. Obviously I've heard of Pavorotti (sp?), but only of his personal life...his rumored "escapades"...whatever. I will travel and go see Paul WHEN his first concert is scheduled. Opera is really beautiful (as I've been told)...and what a "moment" Paul was blessed with...a room full of people showing open adoration for him and him sharing his talent, bringing joy to others...how many of us can say we know how that feels. It must be overwhelming. His teeth will be the very least of his worries...his personal staff will handle those details....all he has to concentrate on is that unbelievable voice. CONGRATULATIONS PAUL!! You ROCK...who will have the last laugh? I predict....uh, Paul. |
