after a 4 day trip from NH ... yes a 4 day trip!!! This was a trip from hell. What could go wrong did go wrong. Here are our trip highlights. I got very, very sick with a stomach bug. The truck broke down, little by little all down the east coast. It was all the stop and go due to my million pit stops. At one point I fell asleep behind the wheel :-/ I came to just as I was crossing the center median towards the other side of the highway. I swear we had guardian angels on our trips. with that close call and the fact that trucks tranny (which was leaking gear oil) could have seized up we had to have. The truck limped into the northern tip of Fl. and then we lost the rearend. Oh poor sam had to say goodbye to his truck. (I was driving my car and Sam was driving his truck with the trailer)

Well sorry I haven't checked in until now, but I have been sick as a dog until now. Atleast we are finally here and we made it SAFE!!!! It sure was the neverending trip of neverending horrors.

Well I'm just glad you are finally there and can now recuperate - in the sun!

Glad you arrived in one piece, Tara. Try and follow Helen's advice and take it easy until you are better. Otherwise it will take much longer to get better.

Helen, I hope you are following your own advice. Don't need you having a relapse. This last bout quite scared the shit out of me, thank you very much. (I know it wasn't any fun for you either)

Thanks all! I'm feeling better today and yesterday thankfully. I gotta agree with Mike, Helen! I sure hope you are following your own advice!!! :-* Those guardian angels are floating around thankfully ;;D

Okay you rotten lot I'm behaving beyoootifully and you know it!
Its 9:15pm in the evening, I've had blood tests today and no calls from the hospital and *touch wood* no coppers on the doorstep yet either!

I told I could behave if I tried ;;D

(PS Gator - I scared the sheet out of me last time too - I was actually crying I was so scared. Ain't playing that game again but it really wasn't my fault - I told the docs the week before I was bloody well sick!)

Whew.

Glad you made it finally but what a story. While we're pleased as punch that you made it in one or two pieces, it looks like you'll have to stay in Florida for the rest of your life. :o

I guess we'll have to have 2008 in the Sunshine State.
