Title: Home at Last! Post by Jimi on Jun 9th, 2007, 11:25am Home at last. Thank God Almighty I'm home etc etc etc. You know the rest. What a journey I am on. I know, I know this is a clusterhead board but I had too many pm's an emails to respond so I will do it this onceon here. Phase one is over. The surgery. Everything seemed to go well. Surgery was 3 hours and recovery wasn't bad. I was up and walking in no time. Constantly being told to drink water and walk. So I did. Doc came in the next day and said everything went as planned. Can't tell me if the cancer has spread but should get the pathology report sometime next week. Said I could go home as soon as my bowels woke up. Surprised they hadn't yet. They never did. Doc made me stay another night. All night nothing. Starting to panic. 0630hrs next morning, bowels wake up and say WTF? I get to go home. 2 hr drive home. Not good. Rain storm. Ruth stressed. I am connected to Mr. hang. He and I are not getting along. We talk and he tells me that he is here for me as a heal. We have a truce at the moment. Next Thursday, we head back to Nashville and hopefully Mr Hang and my self get a divorce(nothing personal)Also will hear about the pathology report I guess. So I am now in phase 2 (living with Mr. Hang.) Next week starts Phase 3. Path report and living in incontinance for a while (short I hope). Phase 4 will be to wake up Mr Happy and get a 0.00 on my PSA test. There, now you know all about me. I have had two guys on here go get checked due to this happening to me and they both got a good report. Thats good. I received phone calls, gifts, emails, cards, and pm's galore and I will say this, but only once. I have cried from the overwhelming support from you guys. I will thank you personally when I see you again. Next on my agenga ins Richmond. See you there! |

Title: Re: Home at Last! Post by Mosaicwench on Jun 9th, 2007, 2:19pm Next week starts Phase 3. . . . . .(snip) living in incontinance for a while (short I hope). Don't worry Jimi - it'll be short. It's been only 15 years since I had my kid and the incontinence is still around . . . short indeed. :o :o We're so very glad to hear from you. See you in Richmond! |
