Title: Give a kid a few vibes?
Post by Redd on Jun 8th, 2007, 5:19pm
Dylan is taking his ACT tests tomorrow and if you guys have any vibes and prayers to spare could you send a few his way?

I'm sure he'd appreciate it.  Many thanks.

Good Night sleep?  He's working tonight...6PM till ???

I do plan to make him go straight to bed after eating something.  I have to have him to UWSP by 8AM.   Then from there, he goes to the highschool and grabs his trombone and then it's off to the dedication of a new playground in town.  It's built to allow "other" abled children to have fun as well.  Meg is going to Appleton to see a stage production of the Lion King.   It'll be a great experience for her.

They are growing up so fast...

when did I get so old?  :-/

Meg and I were at the store tonight and she looked at my racing stripe and said..."Mom...thats not gray, it's WHITE..pure white...you aren't old enough for white hair."

Originally, "ACT" stood for American College Testing. In 1996 they changed it simply to ACT (cuz they do a bunch of workplace testing now as well).

He overslept, was unprepared in that he didn't have his scientific calculator with him.  He showered and slammed down a Red-Bull after he ate a big bowl of frosted shredded wheat.  From the looks of things he's going to miss out on playing with the band today, because he is taking the writing portion of the test as well.  (Writing is what he is very interested in at least right now)

Everything crossed here for him - bloody kids! I couldn't have relaxed enough the night before an exam to oversleep LOL He's so laid back it's a wonder he doesn't fall over!

LeLimey:

To answer thy quandry:
The ACT is a multiple-choice test through and through, with English, Math, Reading and Science.
w/o writing, it's just the multiple Choice.
with writing, you answer or discuss something that the booklet asks you or something like that.

I didn't take the writing because:
1.- Price- more money
2.-Time length- I wouldn't have been able to get to pep band
and 3.- Ignorance- Ignorance is bliss!

(hidden answer: first time though- I didn't want to bite off more than i could chew ;3)

so, yah......umm............
PIE! ^^
