Well, I went to the urologist last week and one of the things that he was testing me for was for bladder cancer, so I've been a bit on edge for a week, plus the fact that he and I have been playing phone tag for 2 days and he won't leave a message with the diagnosis on my voicemail.  

I do, however, have interstitial cystitis, which can totally be cured with pills, taken for 3 months.  Thank Goodness!  One less thing on my mind.  I'm sorry, I just had to share the good news.  I know that there were a few of you concerned about me, and I want you to know that that means a lot to me!  

Back to the regularly scheduled wedding plans!

Edited to add:  It can't be cured, but the pills taken for 3 months (3 times a day) are supposed to help the symptoms, etc.

Well that is good news.

Heh heh... playing phone tag for 2 days... about cancer.  I would have drove to his house for the diag... lol.

I had already made up my mind that if I didn't get a hold of him today, that about 2:00 I was driving to his office.  I was not waiting another 24 hours to find out....screw that!

Absolutely fantastic news kimmie.

I had a similar experience last month when I had to wait for the results of a chest scan that turned out to be clear so I know what that wait is like, and what it feels like to hear its not cancer.
