Yep! Because the vertical portion doesn't actually touch the blocks that are laying flat, it only appears that way because of the angle cut into the top block.

Very Possible... It is a brick version of a Möbius Ring. If you follow the edge you'll find it only has one edge. Follow one side and you'll find it only has one.

Easy to make with a strip of paper. Form a loop then twist one end upside down and tape together... You'll get a Möbius ring.
