Title: Play Day (poem)
Post by Broken on Jun 1st, 2007, 4:14pm
What a day! Feels like a hunderd degrees!
But suddenly there's a noise in the distance.
Thunderstroms roll arcoss the mountain side.
Rain pours like tears of the broken hearted.
Then just as it started it's over with no sound.
Standing on the front porch I begin to smile.
I walk out down drive as drops run off the leaves.
Spin in the puddles, that are already warm.
Thore bangs his hammer still in the distant sky.
I just smile and continue to dance.
What a day. From hot and dry to wet and cool.
Thank god for the weather giving me a chance to play.

It's been raining all day and unfurtinatly it's not as nice as yesterday. Cold, wet, and almost no sunshine. Oh well! Glad you liked it.
