Thanks for the news story. It was a very interesting read. Particularly because he is from WI and because my son Chris will be a Marine Recruit in less than 30 days at San Diego MCRD. I liked the mention of Marineparents.com It is a wonderful support network.

Did you see the size of those freakin spiders (camel spiders) on his blog ??.... OMG, that would be my worst nightmare.... :o

It was an interesting read and I wish nothin but the best for that young man to come out unharmed !!
