Is to be knocked in the head! Sarah is having surgery tomorrow and I've worried myself silly about *could/might happen*. You'd think we were old hands at this, given that this is her 7 surgery in 5 years (yes, I said 7). She's scared too. It's like she told me, "mama, you'd think I'd be used to this by now, but I'm more scared now than ever". So.......something, anything, keep us in your thoughts.

Oh, BTW, forgot to mention that she finished her first year in the Master's degree progam. Think we're going to have to ground her though, she only got a 3.6 this semester [smiley=laugh.gif] and finished out the year with an overall GPA of 3.8!

7 surgeries in 5 years...that's a lot for any person to deal with. I'm definitely hoping for a successful surgery and rapid recovery for Sarah.

Now about those "terrible" grades LOL - Tell her I said congratulations!!!

Prayers coming your way. As soon as she's up and well you really need to have a talk with her about those grades. I know you're so ashamed and having trouble facing people - she's just got to keep her mind on her studies... ;)

Her major is history, European to be exact. Right now, her thesis topic is going to be "How The Polish Home Army Used Women To Obtain Information From the Germans in WW II. Yup, she's gonna be writing about prostitoots ;;D!

Well, it's 4:53 am and we're getting ready to head out in a little bit. Afte the surgery, we have an hous and a half drive back home. Hopefully Sarah will be able to sleep all the way home (we've already let them know that she needs *something* before we leave the hospital). Will post later today and let everyone know how it goes.

Everything went smooth and she is doing fine. She actually did better post-op this time around than she's ever done before. We got home without any problems and she's gone to bed for a bit. I'm going to join the rest of the crew in just a bit and take me a little (or perhaps a long) nap.
