Pronger sucks - that was totally a cheap shot.  I don't like Neidermeier either (not sure if that's how you spell it and I totally don't care).

Go Wings and Sens!!  Now THAT will be a great final!!

(since Scott's Wings beat the crap outta my Flames, I'm glad to see they're going on like they are!

Margi, I'm sorry about the Flames.  I hate when we play them in the playoffs, because I don't like to see them lose.  I just love Jarome.

Wings Sens final will be an excellent series.   ;;D

I love pucks! IMO the NHL playoffs are the best thing happening in sports. Those guys bring it every night.
I'm a life long Blues fan and although these aren't the best of times the future looks bright. My second favorite team is whoever is playing the Red Wings  ;;D

Why are you guys harpin on pronger? the guy has so much talent, hence why he's been around so long. If you don't like him as a person thats a different story. Take a look at his numbers in the playoffs so far and then try to disagree with me!!  I'm a Leafs fan by the way  :-[

We have a minor league hockey team here in DavCon
"The Quad-City Mallards" I have been to 2 of the games its really cool Plus I collected hockey sport cards from 1991 thur 2000 and have a big binder full of many players / insert cards and about 50 autographs my favorite card is an autograph from Chris Chelios # 1006/1800 in gold

I'll say it again, I hate pronger and I hate anaheim.

The wings have to make something happen now -- damn!

I can't believe they lost today on a give away like that. And that crappy call on Datsyuk in the 3rd giving Anaheim the power play that allowed them to tie it. you just don't make that call with 2 minutes left in the Conference Finals.  Maybe in girl's hockey you do, but not the NHL....

I went to a flea market this weekend and got my self 7 new autographs Ü
the hockey autos are Oleg Orekhovsky, Garth Snow, Josh Holden, and Cory Stillman PLUS a Mark Grace and Doug Miller from baseball and a footbal autograph of a HOF'er Ozzie Newsome all for only $2.00 Terry

I love Hockey...almost as much as college football....my husband and I met at a local hockey rink here in OK he was the best player in Oklahoma and still has records in several states like here, New Mexico and Colorado that have not been broken....he played college Hockey in Lake Placid NY but didn't go any further...so we're huge hockey fans... :D  the playoffs suck this year though...I hate the red wings....the refs are just handing them the series.... :-/

Oh, I love hockey! :)

There are lots of talented Finns playing at US teams. Still, my fave team is Finnish, Jokerit (The Jokers). They nearly won the national title this year, just like Finland nearly won the World Championships.

well, Sanna, rest assured that we are taking VERY good care of one of your countrymen.  Miikka Kiprusoff is our star goaltender and he's like a God here in Flames country.  We love our Miikka!!  Kipper has pulled our butts outta the fire more times than any of us really care to admit.  

oh and...uh....I believe it was CANADA who just won the world's.  :)

That's good to know, Margi! :) He's one talented goalie.

And I do know that Canada won, I watched the game on telly. That's why I wrote that Finland "nearly" won. When you get silver medal, it's nearly won to an optimist like myself. ;)

Mikka, as you know, Jarkko Ruutu is from Finland. He and his brothers play for Team Finland, The Lions, as well. :)

Jarkko has one the reputation for getting too much bench time, though.

My mum used to work at the same corporation than his mum. When Jarkko and the rest of her boys played at Finnish league, she used to sell tickets to her colleagues to make sure there were audience at the games! ;;D

This is a house devided, Dave with Pittsburgh and me for the Caps (cuz Im a Maryland gal and Sabres for my family in Buffalo :) )and Sabres. Yes I live in TN but that dont mean I have to support the states team. It aint gonna happen, not till I can use an iceburg to skate board through HELL and bulls have boobs!! LMAO

When does the fight for the Cup start anyway?? Last I heard it the Senators and ?? I wish the Sabres had made it, but there is always next year!!! HEHEHEE ;;D

I kinda hope that my fave hockey player of all time, Teemu Selänne, will FINALLY win the Stanley Cup with his team Anaheim Mighty Ducks. I've followed Selänne's career from my fave Finnish team, The Jokers (Jokerit) to Winnipeg Jets and so on and on and on until Anaheim.

But, I don't take NHL as seriously as I take SM league finals and the World Champions, because we cannot see the games in here. So it the Ducks lose, it's not as bad...

Every now and then I notice that Finland is rather small nation; Teemu's aunt was my guidance counsillor at school! ;;D And she lives near my childhood home today.

I used to live and breathe hockey. Had season tickets to the Rangers and then the Dolan's bought the Madison Square Garden group-( Rangers and Knicks) When they bought both teams the Rangers were respectable, but then they went 8 years without the playoffs--ridiculous!! The Knicks are so bad that they are laughable. The Dolans own Cablevision and they can't even get that right, they should have left the Rangers alone.
