Yep, most of it -- we had a storm going on and the cable kept going off and then coming back on.

But it ended up being all kinds of other things.

They did say Cluster Headaches about a dozen times. That's something. But the kid was lying down during the hit. And the treatment wasn't "standard" - but the shrooms worked I guess before everything else started shutting down.

At least CH got mentioned.

I saw just bits and pieces...did they portray it accurately? I couldn't figure out if he really had cluster headaches or if he was misdiagnosed in the story line???
I had never seen cluster headaches mentioned on TV, it really took me by surprise!

Yeah they got a lot wrong, and the behavior of the kid, length of the hits, etc... but the idea of mushrooms helping being promoted was nice... maybe I can use that as an in with my family to explain why Im not a fiend for taking mushrooms 2x a year.

I just watched episode 12 of season 2 of house called Distractions. To prove a med didn't work House gave himself a Migraine with nitroglycerin and then had it treated with Verapamil and Imitrex injections. He then suffered a couple of days with the migraine. He then took LSD to finally abort the Migraine. I guess it is true the writers have no clue.

That was the LSD episode. Nitroglycerin, sumatriptan, verapamil, LSD, and finally an antidepressant (to counteract the LSD)--all within a few hours. The LSD stopped the headache when the sumatriptan failed. Sounds like a rough way to prove someones medicine doesn't work. :-X
