Title: Re: Sticks Post by PL259 on May 8th, 2007, 6:44pm Lets see, in order Oak Hickory Oak and Water Elm I use various woods, and finishes. I give a few away ;;D (tried to stay on Barb's good side. Jonny had the right caption on that one pic LOL) I sell some locally, usually from 20 to 50 bucks. It's a hobby, one day I will get a web site set up. Have been trying but with bravenet as host and dial up that could take years to get done, lol. This is a sassafras http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q60/Simplewoodwork/DSCN1788.jpg And a short unsual one of oak http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q60/Simplewoodwork/Strange%20Sticks%20and%20Stuff/DSCN2035.jpg JImbo |

Title: Re: Sticks Post by BarbaraD on May 8th, 2007, 8:03pm I love mine and Caleb won't go off the porch without his. They are beautiful. Caleb wants to know where the feathers came from (what kind of Bird? - how big was the bird? How did he catch the bird?). He did give us the lecture -- They are NOT TO HIT PEOPLE WITH!!! (Except Trolls). Jimbo does good work. |
