Title: It Amazes me...

That the far left in France with their preaching of tolerance and peace are the ones rioting, overturning and burning cars because they didn’t like the outcome of their election.  Go figure…  Perhaps the general population of France is waking up to the fact that socialism isn't delivering on all the idealistic views it preaches.

How can anyone govern a nation that has 240 different kinds of cheese? Charles de Gaulle

The French as they say are the French. The British must have said it all during the war.

I'm not a Francophile but there is something unsettling about the level of this recent stuff. Dennis Miller is the worst with them. I find it a bit over the top for him but it does draw an audience.

Napoleon was pretty sucessful for a number of years but then he was Corsican. It's not easy being French.

I don't want to get off on a rant here, but Dennis Miller is a sell out, washed up putz who continues to sink to new lows in his career.  Dennis Miller started out on top, I used to enjoy his comedy and political satire quite a bit......but nowadays he is a suck up little ass kisser sell out.  It pains me to see how far he has fallen since the start of his career.  He is a classic example of starting a career at the high point and consistantly falling from there.

I knew he was a spineless putz back when he started doing M&M commercials.  The dude is washed up, and frankly, I find it painful to listen to his radio show and listen to a washed up sell-out drop names and parrot sound-bytes.

"Course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong"

I once raised and shook my hand while saying no to a French Doctor. He literally threw a fit and kicked me out of his office. I suspect it was an insult? I think he was having a bad and I was his last straw ;;D
