Title: Chuck eat your heart out.... Post by BarbaraD on May 5th, 2007, 9:05pm I check out the buns at the Red Hill meet and greet and thought about you..... nice..... I'd post my "findings", but I don't like to see a grown man cry.... Matt cooked the fish with Jimbo's supervision and Craig complaining that he actually wanted chicken and everything came out great. (And Craig ate as much as the rest of us!) Carolyn's desert was to die for.(Neiman Marcus cake, pie, pudding - it was GOOD!).. Craig took what was left over home with him... But he didn't do dishes. :D Of couse we had nothing to talk about and just sat around and listened to the grass grow. ;;D We had to take Craig's "stick" that Jimbo brought him away from him and sit him in the corner till he could behave himself with it - "NO hitting people!" Those that weren't here got talked about (you expected less?) and of course we told a few war stories (and Jonny I said some "nice" things about you!). And we all know the WHOLE story of Matt's F-Train now and YOU Don't ha ha ha ha! I keep telling you newbies -- don't ever pass up an opportunity to meet with other clusterheads... it's an experience you'll always cherish.. Of course my son still thinks Mom is going to meet an axe murderer eventually (he's thought that since I flew to Rochester to meet my First Clusterhead back in 99, but Elaine didn't even resemble an axe murderer and neither did Kip- now Drummer ???? :D ) Buddy was relieved after he met Jimbo and Carolyn (mom is safe once again) - he'd already met Matt and Craig. Actually after he tasted Carolyn's desert - I think he fell in love with her, but that's another story.... Anyhow I had a great time and hope everyone else did. The day just went too fast.... Even if I had taken a picture, it wouldn't do the taste justice, cos' it don't *look* nearbout as good as it tastes (and te best thing is that it only takes 5 ingredients!). |
