Went down to my sis'-in-law's house on Friday and she and I took off to see if we could catch the sunset. This was taken while we were parked on the old Mississippi river levee (two levees contain the MS. river where it was redirected). I think this is lake St. John, if not, it's Lake Concordia. I also have pictures of the antebellum homes we visited, but I haven't processed them yet.

Is anyone aware that trying to straighten the horizon on an oxbow lake can cause bouts of insanity?

If I had to pick just one it would be #3 because its just incredible - but I don't have to pick just one so there! I can like 'em all!

(My favourite is still "that tree" though ;) )
