Hello my friends. If you would indulge me for a moment I need to begin to rip down some of these walls I have built around myself by giving you all a short explanation about what has been going on with me.

Some people leave this board when they are feeling good and don't need the support that is offered here. I left because things went very downhill for me and I did not want to stay around and be a big bummer. I found myself in short order withdrawing from email, phone conversations and outside contact.

I have no idea why or how but about 3 months ago I started to notice that I was becoming depressed and unhappy. I didn't know why as I have had 20 yrs. to get used to the mind f##K that clusters are and if anything I was having a slightly better time HA wise. I had never had anything like this happen before and was blindsided by a deep despair and dark thoughts that seemed much stronger then my conscious efforts to "get over it". Thank God that my Linda remained strong and very patient while turning down every suggestion that she should get off the ship while she still could. With her help and that of some new doctors I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel again.

I do not want to write a book here but just to touch bases and let you all know that even while seemingly gone my thoughts, prayers, vibes and best wishes have been with you every day. Thanks to all who have not removed me from their mailing lists and for PM's sent but unanswered.

I will be getting back in the swing of things and will try to be much more responsive.

Oh Tim, thank you so much for checking in.

You don't owe us any explanation, but there hasn't been a day go by, that I haven't thought about you and wondered if you were o.k. so it was great that you let us know.

Depression and what it does to our lives is almost as bad as the CH themselves. Good for Linda that she is sticking by your side in this. Every day it will get better.

My dearest Tim,

I am so glad to see you posting Hun. :-*

I know you werent feeling well and no, you never need to answer my emails or PMs unless you want to, and you dont need to give me any explanation either. We understand things can go a bit downhill sometimes.

I am very much like you in that I go into hiding when I am down as well. Its like " if you have nothing good to say then say nothing" ::) . I know its a silly thing to think but hey, we do what we feel most comfortable doing.

So, if you feel like chatting, I am all ears. If you feel like crawling into a cave, I will stand guard ouside and pass the food and drinks and chocolates inside :) . You never need to thank or apologise or respond or anything.

Just be yourself Tim, I love you the way you are.

Please send my love to Linda too and a great big hug, for not leaving when she had a chance, I agree with her unwavering NO perfectly. You are awesome Linda :-*
