Looks like we have a nasty, gnarly Nor'Easter heading up the coast tonight thru Monday...3-6" of rain, 50 mph wind gusts, temps dropping and then snow will be added to the mix.....oh what fun!

Peeps along the east coast, be careful the next few days, k?

Yup.

Watched some of the Indians/Sox game from Cleveland this afternoon. I never saw a colder bunch of fans.

Here in western NY, we are in for temps in the teens and snow for the next few days. In my 60 years, I've never seen so much snow in April. Brrrr. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/snow.gif

Gonna be some snarled air travel delays if it plays out in a hazardous way, all flights into the Northeast are filled through the weekend with Easter week vacationers returning from Florida.

I've been running in the Boston Marathon since 1996. One block at a time.

This year I would have finished block #11. But not if its raining.

We dodged it today in northern IL./ We were supposed to have gotten a bit, but it all went south of us. Thursday though, we had 5+ inches of global warming on the patio./

Weather alert radios are a good idea. BF is a ham radio operator so he is tuned into what's happening. I tease him all the time and tell him that from the looks of all the radios and equipment in his basement, he could probably run the space shuttle....boys and their toys...sheesh!

i think the weather media...needs a major overhaul...3 days ago they are scaring us all with 2 feet of snow...then rain.....well it rained...and yes my sump pump is going....but its not raining as much as predicted here.....and where is the wind gusts of 50mph...unless they meant 15 cause thats all we got....north of us we were suppose to get heavy duty snow...its raining upstate..

Am amazed we still have power here this morning, too.

Woke up to snow here in N. Delaware, wind chills of 20 degrees, steady winds of 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Rain total so far is close to 5"....it's cold, nasty and raw.

Now we get to watch the wankers who decide to try to drive thru flooded roads only to get stuck.

Looks like it's all headed your way, Sean so be careful, stay warm and dry if ya can.
