"Touch Dancing"...the way my parents did...fast or slow....the jitterbug...the "push"... a dance I know how to do...only with my mom though...she taught me...I have always gone out to dance...and am the first one on the floor and last one to get off of the floor...and I just don't mean someone dancing all over me...an actual dance sequence...although I have difficulty with being led [smiley=huh.gif] I have slow danced with my dad...cheek to cheek...it kills my neck with him at least...he squashes my head too far to the side...Im 5'5 and he's 5'11...maybe that has something to do with it??? But I think it would be really nice to dance with a man...my husband told me he would learn [smiley=laugh.gif]..as he cannot dance and doesn't even attempt it...but at least if he learned to slow dance with me...I'd really love and appreciate it...it's very romantic for a woman.... ;) |

Title: Re: I HATE TO DANCE Post by sldrswyfe on Apr 14th, 2007, 7:37pm York..as always you come through with the music...that link will get alot of play...Brew...he gets mad...according to his logic.."why are you dancing like that in front of other guys???"...but he watches me and I rarely get through the song...I love dancing...long before I knew him...at one time I was going to make it my life...ballet..but foolishly allowed my father to talk me out of going to the audition at the Philadelphia School of Performing Arts...he was convinced I'd end up starving and homeless....I think my husband has changed since Iraq and will be more than happy to sit and watch me dance as long as my heart desires...I only wish he'd join me... |

I mean that is covering everything....I would never ever think to look up "spilling drink"...then again I've only used the internet for a few weeks and have no idea what I have here....it's a little frightening. I purposely have stayed away from the interenet...it was a deliberate choice. I have seen and heard of so many people being "addicted" to it...I saw a show where some lady literally would lock herself in the bathroom with her laptop just to use the interenet against her families wishes, despite their pleading. And she stopped cleaning her house, making dinner...lost her damn job :-/??!! Whoah. I've seen family members and friends that just sit in front of the computer all day...barely stopping to go to the bathroom...even eating dinner in front of it, etc. However, my fears have been unfounded...it's fun but not that fun. I really wanted a computer for this site...I heard about CH.com a few years ago...and ever since have been very anxious to get onto it...and when at last I got a computer...I struggled...really struggled to get logged into CH.com...it took SEVENTEEN attempts!!! My system is the "wrong" type for logging in...DJ explains an alternate way to get logged in...which I had to use...not easy for someone who is clueless about the internet. Had alot of help from Charlie and Cluster Chuck....he talked me through the entire thing...had he not...I would've never gotten it here!!! Thank God for Charlie's help and him recruiting Chuck...so many thanks to both of them....I once got on the internet from the library while I still lived in Florida...but since I didn't have a username I could not reply or type back.....I got right on this site from the library. It really is the main reason I even wanted a computer. Im so grateful that Im here... Sherri :D |
