Title: Police Officer BUSTED Post by UN solved on Apr 5th, 2007, 10:40pm I'm usually glad to hear that a dirty cop was busted ... however, I am good friends with this officer. I've known him for about 20 years. He's a good guy that was trying to 'step on the toes' of people in power around here. He wanted me to take over control of a website that was exposing some dirty laundry about the city and officials here locally. I didn't want to touch it in fear of retaliation. This was nothing more than a 'political assisination'. This guy owned the local skating rink and was also running for judge of Sellersburg, IN.. This guy is NOT a drug dealer or user ... he just pissed off the wrong people. http://www.fox41.com/article/view/11442/?tf=wdrbarticleview.tpl What say you ?? UNsolved |

Title: Re: Police Officer BUSTED Post by georgej on Apr 6th, 2007, 2:02am Stranger things have happened. Certainly it's possible that it's politically motivated, but it's impossible to say what actually happened without knowing much, much more about it. I understand that you know this officer. It's upsetting, to say the least, when something like this happens to a friend. Sometimes our friends are victimized because of their stance or their beliefs. On the other hand, it sometimes happens that we do not know our friends as well as we think we do. I've had that happen as well. If the evidence is strong, you'll hear much more about it. If the evidence is weak, then that will come out in the wash. If it is politically motivated and without factual basis, then that will become obvious. For all its faults, the justice system can grind things down exceedingly fine. Sorry, Michael, and best wishes, George |

Title: Re: Police Officer BUSTED Post by BarbaraD on Apr 6th, 2007, 7:26am UnS, Sorry about your friend. Politicks is strange and if you're making waves, ya gotta watch your back every minute (I've been there -- ended up in court a couple of times - stupid things, but the "powers-that-be got a little upset at me and filed some stupid stuff). If he was set up it'll come out but probably AFTER the election. Hugs BD |

Title: Re: Police Officer BUSTED Post by Mac_Muz on Apr 6th, 2007, 11:06am Too bad your friend got busted, but so far as i can tell there are no good cops anymore... I witnessed 2 cops stealing a motorcycle helmet off another bike with my wife present. We called the police staition and were told we were liers and then were told we didn't see it happen.. This in NH where there isn't any lid law, so infact a rider who chose to wear a helmet was forced to ride with out one. At larger events I see the cops cut drive belts knowing the expence of the belt and the labor costs to install another one. I was framed by the persecutor in Wolfboro NH for hit and run of a lamp post, And now that persecutor in doing hard time for molesting boys. Another, the Chief of Police in Bartlett NH is doing hard time for embezzelmant and extortion, of over $40,000.00 in Dare funds which wasn't a program in Bartlett.. (I liked him) On a motorbike called kawii Nomad I took my wife from NH to Cal, Cal to Fla, Fla to Ar, and then to W.Va. where the bike got ripped off..... The Sgt didn't care, then they caught someone and still I get no info, and neither does Progressive! When I got back to NH I got stopped 3 times in a row! All for nothing... No probable cause what so ever... Easter 99 my in laws were murdered with in site of the cop shop just 3 blocks away. Elderly folks... Stabbed to death in the street. it took SWAT 3 hours after the fact to arrive in time to call the Fire Dept to wash the street down! In 1983 I called the cops for help and was refused and told "To serve and Protect" does not mean they will stop a crime before it happens and or be body guards... Some drugged out crazy person was assulting me, my family in the middle of the night and causing property damage for each of 3 nights. I was forced to SHOOT the guy, wounding him, and 45 minutes after i called the cops they called to say they had found him and needed to break this guys thumbs.. he was choking some infant to death and was caught in the act.. Then I was told he was wanted on 6 bench warrents for drugs and violent crimes... I was smokin mad that the bigger "they" released this convict in the first place, and then getting no help from cops... Now I shoot first and ask questions later... Who needs cops when they are as bad if not worse that the crooks! I go no where unarmed, I don't even type unarmed, and this is rural NH USA... it's all bull shit! |

You had some unfortunate incidences. But that still doesn't justify that remark. There are PLENTY of good, honest, sincere policmen/women out there. Chuck |

Title: Re: Police Officer BUSTED Post by Mac_Muz on Apr 6th, 2007, 3:53pm It is my opinion and seen thru my eyes is valid.. I no longer trust anyone muchless badge pushers who seek to use the authority illegally. Who will enforce double standards, and assist not even the eldery. Show me a way to tell which cops are the good ones from the bad ones and maybe then we can get somewhere. My life has been rough with adults actting like the fools adults can be to include cops. I don't give a damn what suit one waers and take people I meet at what ever face value they show. I have had long hair since I was a kid and I know what bad cops are.. I just don't know what good cops are. You are most certainly entiled to your opinion and maybe if just once a cop didn't hassel me for no reason, I might not be angery. Maybe if they came when I asked I might not be angery. Maybe if the people the cops work for which isn't the common man, and kept convicts in prision where convict belong my in laws would be alive... Cops act like politians if you ask me and protect them, but not us. They enforce bad law and preform a double standard to any law... A little power as that sayin goes ya know? |
