Title: Re: Whats for Dinner? Post by Redd on Mar 31st, 2007, 5:06pm I DO so like grilled fish. A little Lemon Pepper or dill weed and sea salt.... I prefer a broiled white fish to the battered and deep fried stuff as well. Drawn butter, and a little lemon juice. |

Title: Re: Whats for Dinner? Post by Brewcrew on Mar 31st, 2007, 5:10pm I wanna eat dinner at Pegg's house someday. She's always cooking mushrooms, and her bread is always crusty. Tonight we're going out to see a friend's band, so we'll be eating a burger or some such from the grill. |

Title: Re: Whats for Dinner? Post by Redd on Mar 31st, 2007, 5:30pm Bill, You and the whole fam damily is welcome up here anytime. Chuck, Dinner will be ready in about an hour and a half to 2 hours. Did I mention "slow" simmered? Right in the gravy to make it so tender it breaks apart. Almost to the point of shredding. Left overs get seasoned for shredded beef burritos. IF there are any leftovers with these teenagers.. ;;D |

Check this out.... http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/obesity/DS00314/DSECTION=7 a good recipe for the soup: http://www.healthreserve.com/dieting/cabbage_soup_diet.htm Now...to ensure you don't get low on proteins and complex carbs and get light headed, you need to alter the daily regimine some. It will take longer to loose, but it will in a healthy way and you won't gain back as fast. along with the diet recommendations, breakfast daily is one egg and a slice of whole grain toast or bread with a tbls. of peanut butter and cup of low fat sugar free yogurt. Flollow the diet for the lunch meal. For the evening mea, broiled chicken breast, or white fish filet and a slice of whole grain bread, and a cup of low fat sugar free yogurt. Follow the rest of the diet. You will not get tired and lightheaded and will still loose weight |

Title: Re: Whats for Dinner? Post by jimmers on Mar 31st, 2007, 7:56pm 15 lbs. shouldn't be so hard to do. I guess part of it is that I sit on my ass a lot working in the office now, unlike when I was in the field climbing ladders and telephone poles all day to fix the wires, playing soft ball in the evenings etc. I guess manual labor has its advantages ;;D We have a treadmill, but I would rather walk outside but right now but its friggen cold and raining! Gotta go and walk now. Seeya, Jimmers |
