I saw this on this morning's news!

As I understood it, the Brits had just finished a routine check on a ship in IRAQUI waters, and had cleared the ship to proceed. They got back in their small boat, and a couple if Irani vessels converged on them at gunpoint, and escorted them in to IRANIAN waters, and in to an Iranian port, to be held.

You go Brits! Do the thing that the Brits can do so well, kick A$$.

My guess is that if the Iranians know any history; they'll play ball. Of all the services, the Royal Navy is nothing to fool with. People don't design navies largely on the British model for nothing.

Here's hoping for a safe return...like now.

And now it seems that Ahmadinejad has canceled his plans to arrive at the UN tomorrow because of(according to him) "America's obstruction in issuing visas to the Iranian delegation that was to travel to NY".

Guess those sanctions are a hard thing to face, eh? Grrrr!
