Title: Name change Post by Callico on Mar 22nd, 2007, 3:57am After my wife and my kids for several years telling me I am no longer a "kid" and my oldest son telling me I am going to be a grandfather I am bowing to familial pressure and changing my handle to just Callico. I guess it (like becoming a grandfather) is just that one more step closer to death. ;;D I've used that handle for years now, but just because I'm dropping the kid part doesn't mean I'm going to grow up! jc |

Title: Re: Name change Post by Callico on Mar 22nd, 2007, 2:33pm Thanks Chuck. I'll be sure to pass it along to him. He should make Corporal next time around, and I couldn't be prouder! Right now he is as mad as he can be at the Corps. he volunteered for deployment, but for some reason didn't get chosen for this go around. he doesn't think it right that others have gone multiple times while he is still at home. Title: Re: Name change Post by BarbaraD on Mar 22nd, 2007, 8:47pm The only difference between men and boys is The size of their SHOES and the Price of their TOYS... Get over it guys -- Age is just something that happens when you're not looking.. And if you ever grown up what the hell do you have to look forward to? personally I don't EVER plan to grown up. There are still things I haven't done yet. I have a friend and we're STILL doing FIRSTS. Cal just enjoy everyday -- your family is just jealous cause you're having so much fun.... Hugs BD |
