Title: Good news for Gage! Post by chewy on Mar 19th, 2007, 2:14pm Day 24. Today's ANC is 900! Platelets are 87, white cells 2.5, and Hematocrit 29.9. All great news and a wonderful upward trend! If Gage's ANC is over 500 tomorrow as well, then he will be considered engrafted! Gage has a long hospital stay ahead of him. And he's attached to an IV all day so his scooter and bike riding through the halls are on hold for awhile - which means he's cooped up in bed all day. It's tough to entertain a 5 year old - especially a 5 year old who can't run around and burn off energy. I think cards and letters would be a great idea right now. If you don't have time to write a letter you could send him a postcard from the city or state you live in. Would be great way to fill up his day seeing all the different places people who are praying for him come from. If you'd like to send a card or letter you can mail it to the following address: Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center Gage Dole M/S T-3265, PO Box 5371 SCCA Inpatient Unit Seattle, WA 98105 |

Title: Re: Good news for Gage! Post by Brewcrew on Mar 19th, 2007, 2:22pm Thanks goodness! Gage has been on my mind of late, and this is another answer to a prayer where God's ideas and mine are in alignment (doesn't happen that often). Maybe it was the dedication of Highway Star on Feb. 24.... ;;D Don, when we send him a card, how do we refer to you? "I'm a friend of your (uncle) (godfather) (that nasty man on the other side of the world)..." Great, great news. |
