Title: Re: HELP ME STOP BIDDING! Post by Brewcrew on Mar 7th, 2007, 8:10pm As long as you break even at the end of the day, there's no problem. A very wise man once told me, "If you're buyin' more than you're sellin', you're losin'." Applies to so many facets of life. |

Title: Re: HELP ME STOP BIDDING! Post by minnie on Mar 8th, 2007, 11:37am Hi Mel, It'll be okay.E-bay addiction is bad on finances but there are so many addiction that are WAY WORSE and costlier.I never bought anything personally off E-bay.Window shop there (is it really called window shopping?)Billy bought a lot off E-bay he got really great deals but he did his homework to make sure they were great deals. Off subject kinda but oh well...I went to sign up for pay-pal.Went through the process but it kept saying my city and Zip code weren't compatibal with what was in their data base.I called their customer service and finally got a repersentative. She was very friendly ,tried to help.We entered it in so many different ways and still no go.She puts me on hold to have me talk to someone else. ::) 15 minutes of their 'please hold your call is important to us and will be answered asap" yeah...finally I hung up,so much for getting pay-pal.and yes I really do know my address :P minnie |

Title: Re: HELP ME STOP BIDDING! Post by BobG on Mar 8th, 2007, 1:39pm Mel, STOP with buying the dollar coins! Nobody, not even the US Mint knows how many are out there. It is probably in the thousands. If you spend $15 (or up to $50) plus $15 for shipping you will get a coin that in one year will be worth, at best, $2. |
