The first one is between Jamestown and Riverbank, "AROUND THE BEND FROM LOVER'S LEAP", and the second is a few miles east of Patterson, "ALMOST HOME". Watercolors look different depending on the light they are in. Also, they look better about 6 feet away. Thanks for looking. Only 14 more to go. Charlotte

Love the little hillside road in the first, it takes me into the scene. :)
The clouds are great in the second one and, whether that is sunlight peaking through or if that's a very distant impression of a mysterious peak they are veiling, make it look awesome. Beyond is Shangri-la. ;)

Jamestown is great place to visit. Anyone into trains would love this place.
Very nice, Char! It's places like these that I will miss the most when I hit the road on the 20th.

Charlotte, I really like the style of these paintings, and the colors are great. Fourteen to go? Very ambitious project.

Purdy! I like the colors in both of them, and I can't figure out which one I like the most. I like the sky in both of them, but I like the darker hues in the first one.
