I am not sure what the question is but could you give the translation modern English instead of old English. If it is from the Torah then can you give the Christian Bible verses. Paul |

It is the underlying foundation for Judaism. All of the rest of Jewish law rests on this, as does Christian teaching which follows after. When one will "Love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy might" everything else will fall into place. Jesus took it to the next logical step when questioned about this commandment, and said that the second is like unto it, that you should love your neighbor as yourself.
