Title: Vibes Please.. Post by Redd on Mar 1st, 2007, 6:39pm Not for me...but for the local highschool Hockey Team. They are in Madison at the State Tournament right now. If they don't win tonight's match, they will be on their way home in the second extreme storm to hit in a week. If they do loose, please keep a bus load of boys in your thoughts and prayers that they make it home safely without incident. Or send winning vibes if for no other reason to keep them off the highway tonight. Thank you. |

Title: Re: Vibes Please.. Post by Melissa on Mar 1st, 2007, 6:58pm My idiot stick of a husband just called. I told him not to drive home from work tonight, he just said "yeah". That PITA just won't listen! He took the truck to work and acts like he can make the drive home, he never listens to me! *BFS* In my anger I forgot to add that I'm sure they'll keep the kids down there overnight in a hotel. :) |

Title: Re: Vibes Please.. Post by Redd on Mar 1st, 2007, 7:12pm Testosterone seems to interfer with proper reasoning abilities. Some of the kids are friends/classmates of my two... They canceled the Pep_Band trip down due to the weather, or Dyl would have been on that bus, and I'd be worried sick untill he got home. to add: BTW Melly I love you hair that way! |

Title: Re: Vibes Please.. Post by Charlie on Mar 1st, 2007, 7:39pm It's a tough storm I guess but I saw some weather cable news goof standing outside in Minnesota with a microphone telling us how the whole place was just about shut down. That must not have included all the interstate traffic and plows behind him. Like Buffalo, Lake Wobegon can get around in snow most of the time. Don't know about Wisconsin though. Stay put Mel. Title: Re: Vibes Please.. Post by Melissa on Mar 1st, 2007, 8:39pm Ya know, that doesn't even look like snow. It looks like someone took bites out of a bunch of giant marshmallows and then packed them in front of the window. :-/ |

Yah ready? Promise not to tell anyone. Driving in knee-deep snow is a shitload of fun. In fact, the only downside to it is that we get stuck once in a while slowing down for the occasional female on the road. /'momentum' and 'inertia' are alien concepts to women driving through snow ;;D //in Saudi Arabia they do not let women drive when it is snowing |
