My son called Monday and told me one of his co-workers (and a kid I dearly adore) had to be taken from work to ER with a horrible headache.

He called a few minutes ago and said Joe had been diagnosed with CH. Buddy (my son) said before Joe could describe his symptoms to him - he'd already told him how he felt. Joe was shocked that Buddy knew about them (so am I = I didn't know the kid was paying attention).

I'm trying to get hold of Joe now and tell him to get to this board. From what Buddy said, the docs gave him some pain meds (not good) and got him an appointment with a neuro. When I get hold of him, I'm going to try to get him to go to my neuro (at least I know he'll get some proper treatment).

does anyone know what a big purple pill (for pain) that you have to take phenergan with is? But they did give him a predisone taper. No O2.

Guess what I'm getting at is - you just never know when these darn things are going to hit or who. At least they're being diagnosed a little better than years ago.

If Joe shows up here - be nice kids...

Barbara, darvocet N comes in a big purple variety but it should say what it is right on it.

I know that I don't need to tell you what a waste of his time that would be :(

I've pulled up the big easy chair and fluffed the pillows for him. Tell him to come sit a spell. He might like the company :)

Glad to know he's already got a support system there.

If Joe makes his way here, I'm sure that we'll give him the warm welcome every clusterhead deserves. :)

It's wonderful that he already has you two to support him! :)
