We have been advised that a SWAT team has been dispatched somewhere in town here.  We have 2 reporters working on getting more information but so far no word on what is going on.

What in the world could have gone on to need a SWAT team?

I'll update you all when I have more news.

Still no word yet as to what the deal is.  I'm just hoping it doesn't have anything to do with any of the schools.  So much of that going on these days, and last week a High School just 50 Miles north of here was shut down for a day due to threats.

Our High School Hockey team is one game away from going to state.   I know Meg is safe, as she left for a trip to Washington DC early this Morning.

Somebody took some cheese from the supermarket and did not pay. Class A felony im Wisconsin.  Plus it should be a misdemeaner that Wisconsin is #1 in the AP Polls in NCAA basketball. I'm just saying...... ::)

I'm sorry, this is a subject that I'm very touchy about.  

Being a survivor of DV myself, and having worked with the local shelter and Org.s dedicated to this cause, it just stirs something sick in me.  I used to volunteer and go on these types of calls.  Women rationalizing the abuse, blaming themselves while their faces are bleeding their eyes going black and lips swelling as we spoke.
