Here is the answer to what one can do to counteract these looney-tunes.  Taken from the web site.

 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement

The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.

We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.

Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.

1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.

2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.

We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedoms of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you.  We honor and support you with every mission we carry out, and we are praying for a safe return home for all.

I joined the PG as did Tanner and his wife, and it makes me very proud to go on "missions" for these fallen soldiers.  These idiots are very small in number.  There are approx. 70,000 gaurd riders across the US right now.

And that,my dear friends is exactly why I am a proud member of The Patriot Guard Riders.
A family burying their loved one should never ever be subjected to that kind of shyt..and it is our mission to make sure they arent (and we do it very well)
Feel free to ask me..LindaH or Tanner about it!

Much Love
Shari

Maybe we could hold a raffle to raise money for OUCH - $5 per ticket or 5 for $20. The winner gets to detonate it.

You guys provided a service of immeasurable value and everytime I see footage of an event you've covered I cry like a baby.

I don't know where people like you come from, but I thank God for you every day!

A few years ago, Fred Phelps and his collection of toads came up here to try to put an anti-gay "memorial" in one of our public parks.  Remember Mathew Shepard, the kid in Wyoming who was tortured and murdered?  Phelps's "memorial" was going to be celebrating the belief that the kid deserved to die.

Needless to say there is no such "memorial" here.

For a brief bio of Phelps and his nutburger antics, see:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Phelps

See also:

http://splcenter.org

...for further information on Phelps, Westboro, and many other organized fringe groups.  Yes--I realize that the Southern Poverty Law Center may occasion a bit of controversy itself, but the fact remains that the SPL is one of the few public organizations that actively monitors, details, and archives the activities of organized underground buttheads.  I've seen Morris Dees speak on one occasion, and also attended a seminar in Montana during the height of the militia craze, when I had a chance to listen to an extended presentation by the SPL.  Want to know what your local crazies are up to?  Chances are, the information is archived by the SPL.

Information--as always--is powerful.

Best wishes,

George

It really is too bad that rights are given to EVERYONE in America.  These fuckers should have no rights at all.

I would say what should be done with IEDs, but then i would probably get investigated for hate crimes.

Figures.

This guy never stops. It's amazing that he doesn't look like Swiss cheese. I mean, seriously, the guys I've dealt with at gun shows over the years....It's a puzzlement, even with the not necessarily high level of tolerance among that community, it does affect our armed forces.
