Title: gone....and back.....then disappointment Post by JenniferD on Feb 9th, 2007, 7:20pm So I spent 2 days with that little bundle of squirminess, sick as HELL with bronchitis and strep, and the daughter (grrrrrrrrr) leaves me to watch her for TWO DAYS. And I could barely get off the couch to take care of myself, much less the fluffball. So one of my son's friends was going to take her, but his dad said no. So she's back to Hannah. Guess who's coming home? ;;D http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m211/darryljen/cuteness.jpg CUTENESS!!!! She doesn't have a real name yet, so.... suggestions? teehee. I fell in love with her so damn bad! |

Title: Re: gone....and back.....then disappointment Post by Redd715 on Feb 9th, 2007, 10:55pm Reminds me of a puppy my Dad once brought home in a drunken stuper and threatened to kill by throwing her against the wall if Mom didn't agree to keep her. Since my dad was a fan of Christian Brothers, the puppy was aptly named Brandy. That puppy looks just like that little pooch did. Just a suggestion. |

Title: Re: gone....and back.....then disappointment Post by Lobster on Feb 10th, 2007, 11:09am The good thing is that you can plan for it next time around. Getting an unexpected puppy is a shitload of work. Next time you can have all the goodies lined up... crate, fences, all that stuff... and plan your acquisition for when the two of you have overlapping time off. You can also plan to pick one when it is not quite so cold outside... makes the house training a bit easier. |
