Yesterday's Helsingin Sanomat newspaper announced that 1425 people applied to the very same journalism training program than I did.

I knew that many people would, but 1425! :o And still 21 will be picked. 1404 will be dissapointed in March when the lucky ones are announced.

I'm keeping my thumbs up that I will be one of those lucky ones. At least this time even mum is cheering for me! When I applied to study in London, she was sure that I did not stand a chance. I got a place from the university I wanted the most and I'm using the same optimism now with this one! :)

After all, 1424 others applied, but only of them is Sandie... ;)

Still, I would have lived happily without the exact amount of my competition... ::)

Phuh! Its the other 1424 that have cause to worry Sanna but I know you and your humility - I have faith in you, the rest of the family here does too and that counts for ALOT!
