My flight to Philly was uneventful and almost on time. Rental car was ready to go. Found the hotel easily enough.

Check in. A smoking room (yes!). Open the door - the garbage is full; the toilet is not clean. How disgusting! So I request a different room. Front desk manager personally delivers the keys to the new room, and checks it with me to make sure it has been cleaned. (I received a sincere apology and 50% off my dinner, not including alcohol)

So, I chat online, I go to dinner, I chat some more. Shower time. I shower. I get out of the shower - the previous guests' dirty towels are hanging on the back of the bathroom door! ewwwww ewwwwwwwww ewwwwwwww (nothing quite like being naked and dripping wet, then discovering this!) Now comes the question: how do I know I'm not sleeping on someone else's dirty sheets?

More apologies from the front desk. Sheets are being changed at this very moment (yes, I will tip Miss Edie, for it is not her fault).

Room 345 - filthy! not even touched.
Room 349 - appeared cleaned, alas it was not

Please don't give me any ideas of what else might be disgustingly dirty!

aww gawd! Didn't get a chance to hear about your trip in chat..... sounds awfully "shitty" llol truly I hope not really shit . Hope it turns around for ya!

Check with the front desk to see if Mr. Johnson was in the room before you. I swear, that man is everywhere. First he was in Woodstock and now he is in Pennsylvania. Wonder where he will turn up next? [smiley=laugh.gif]

Things that make you go "hmmmm....."

Ever notice how households that use the most disinfectants (wipes, soaps, sprays, hand sanitizers, etc.) are the sickest?
