A CAR!
I was just standing at the corner waiting to cross when some woman ran the light and T-Boned a guy..sending him spinning through the intersection & right into me! It happened behind me so I didnt see it coming.. I heard the crash & when I turned around..there he was..BAM!
Up over the curb and pinning me between him & the curb...I thought I broke my ankle..(I didnt,,yayy) but when the cop asked me if I wanted transport to the ER..I declined because I knew the paramedics..and my legs werent shaved..I wouldda been so embarrassed!! (I am such a girl!)
So anyway..just stiff & sore today..just remember folks..be careful out there!!

Was the driver drunk or on drugs? I hope he was bloody well arrested.

I am so glad you are ok, that is very scary, people just don’t care anymore red what’s that mean?
The stop sign and red light thing are my pet peeves if I was a cop I would give out a ton of tickets for that.
My best friend is really bad at it, every time I ride with him he almost never stops and when I call him on it he says he thought he stopped, he doesn’t even realize he ran the stop sign, he is a friend but it is people like him that get innocent people killed because they just don’t pay attention, scary very scary.

Shari, I am shocked :o My mother always told me to Shave your legs and wear clean underwear because you never know when you might have to go to the hospital ;;D

OK, I made part of that up but.......I hope you have no complications later. I have been told by folks in the EMT field that you should always take the ride to the hospital when involved in that type of accident just in case.

Great to hear from you! I wish it was for a merrier reason :)

I would have done the same thing... when i was a little girl I got hit by a car while riding my bike, and when my mom got to the hospital she yelled at me because my feet were dirty. I hope you are ok though for the sake of liability etc. what if you have repercussions of this later on. Sometimes injuries don't show themselves for a few days. Did you get the names of the people involved at least. You need to be covered... I'm glad you are ok... That must have been horrifying...love ree

Oh Good Lord . . . I'm glad you're almost okay.

Shave those legs and get seen by someone, just to be sure. Last thing you need is something popping up later that could have been prevented.

And I hope you're out of cycle so you're not getting hit and then getting hit again!

I would have doen what Mr. Tim said and took the ride to the hospital. I'd hate to see you hurting later on when you might not have any legal recourse on your side.
And as soon as I get home I'm shaving my legs and putting on my other underwear!
