Well... If clusters aren't going to kill me, I'm not going to let Pneumonia kill me either .... even if it hits me twice within a few weeks time !! I just got out of the hospital (again) yesterday. Still coughing and taking antibiotics for it .... but glad to be back !! ;)

And oh yeah .. btw ... I QUIT SMOKING !! YEAH !! ;;D

BEST part about this entire thread and that statement just made my day!!!!!!! :) Sorry you've been sick but THANK YOU for quitting smoking!! Everybody thinks that lung cancer won't happen to them - but it wrecks lives.... Hope your lungs get nice and pink and healthy now! ;)

Geez! Pneumonia is rough enough once, but twice like that? Please take care of yourself, bro.

Congrats on the quitting the coffin nails. It was pneumonia that convinced me I needed to quit smoking. I'm glad I did and I wish you every success and good health.

Congratulations on giving up smoking hon - thats fantastic news and I'm really pleased.. BUT why are we only just hearing now that you've had pneumonia not just once but twice?

Don't you know yet you're supposed to let us know these things?! Whatever happend to the golden rule that you have to get someone to let us know when you're in hospital or as sick as that so we can all wish you better?

Now don't do it again young man or I'll be forced to give you a bloody good slapping :) (Consider yourself well and truly told off!)

Glad you're better.....congrats on the 'no smoking'..

AND another thing young man ... err.... ummm...

I think she pretty much covered all the bases.

Keep up the good job though with the smoke free lifestyle... remember, you're not an ex-smoker but a non-smoker. I'm praying that you have a full recovery from the pneumonia and enough PFD&N to carry you through eternity.

Oh no, pneumonia! That is no joke, got me once already this winter.

2x is more than a bummer, the best thing you did was quit smoking of course - Can't even imagine smoking with pneumonia...whew!

Congrats and take care of yourself, better to look foolish bundled up than to relapse.

It's not going to do you any good to get that head transplant, though, if you're going to go out and catch pneumonia.

That pneumonia knocked me on my ass for 8 weeks... it's a killer. I lost my Geometry teacher way back in high school. He went home early on a Friday, and on Monday we started the day with the news that he passed on that Friday night. Whamo.

If you've had it once, it's more likely that you can get it again, so stopping the smoking is probably going to save your life more ways than one.
