Title: Happy Groundhog Day Post by barry_sword on Feb 2nd, 2007, 6:50am Still dark here so it will be a couple of hours before our "Wiarton Willie" shows up to give us the good or bad news about winter. [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] I bought the dvd "Groundhog Day" at x-mas so we will watch it tonight after work. Bill Murray is one of our favorite actors and this movie is all remastered in widesceen and dolby digital 5 to 1 so it should be good. Hoping for an early spring, so go Willy go!! :D |

Title: Re: Happy Groundhog Day Post by barry_sword on Feb 2nd, 2007, 5:49pm Our albino" Wiarton Willie" did not see his shadow either. Awesome! Let's see, put the snow shovel away, put on the summer tires, get the lawn mower out of storage, dust off the bike-----WAIT A MINUTE! We are letting a animal that lives in the ground decide this for us? ::) We do need this to be a holiday! :D :D :D Barry |

Title: Re: Happy Groundhog Day Post by Lizzie2 on Feb 2nd, 2007, 9:52pm I was just laughing as I got up this morning at 5 to get ready for work. I was remembering when I was younger, and I used to get so freaking mad when Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow! I'd be down all day long feeling like it was gonna be cold forever. And now I'm like....so what? It's just a groundhog...and 6 more weeks ain't that bad! lol Funny what happens when you grow up.... ;) |

Title: Re: Happy Groundhog Day Post by Charlie on Feb 3rd, 2007, 12:39am 18..........Yikes. How sweet it is and was....sigh. Hope it was a good one Christopher. ENJOY IT. Groundhog day looks better to me every time I see it. Damn. I can't remeber her name but the actress in this thing is incredible. I like 'em sweet and then I like a Jamie Lee Curtis type as well....Am I alone in this kind of thing? Charlie |
