So I get back to the office today, and there was only one major screw up, the grapic artist that built an ad for a client isn't very bright and confused the request for "Classy" with "cheesy". OMG the ad looked like that crazy chick Mimmi from Drew Cary show blew up all over the place. If it were an inside B&W ad it wouldn't have been quite so bad, but this was

"Front page full color"

The tellatubbies puked all over this ad...

So...on the brighter side...Megan is pulling a 3.675 GPA...smart girl, I had no worries, but she wants to "dumb down" because her friends say she is too smart. WTF? Get new friends..but as a teen I know thats not the direction to take. Just keep helping her accept herself. If she wasn't in so many advanced classes, her GPA would be higher...she already said she's bored in science this Semester, because it's "not" her advanced class.

And even with missing assignments...Dyl pulled off a 2.757...That is the best GPA he's ever had! Thats a B- average up from a D average in one semester! I'm so proud of him...he's worked really hard. He's has to if he wants to continue writing for the Our Voice Newspaper. He's earned getting back into Tia Kwan Do, and getting his drivers license. One more quarter and he'll earn signing for "off campus" privleleges at his lunch hour.

Ok so it's back to the daily grind...it's a new year...bring it on!

Glad you came back to minimal problems at work. Congrats to the kids on their scholarly accomplishments. You have a lot to be proud of in those two.

Add my congratulations to Dyl and Meghan too - you have every reason to be very, very proud, they're good kids :)

As for that graphic artist.. I'll teach him "graphic" for you if you like?! Say the word and I'll concoct a dinner for him that would teach him the true meaning of both technicolour andwhat it means when you're an arse ;;D
