Pics from the ice storm we had two weeks ago.

Lost about 5 major limbs off my trees. One nice one bounced off the house... just some cracked J-molding to show for it, so that is all good.

The golf course lost about 15 trees. Our power was only out for about 3 hours once or twice, but on the other side of the country club they were without juice for a few days.

It's too bad that something that looks so pretty can cause so much damage.

We were down in the Niagara region last week and the view was beautiful - but the damage to the trees is sad.

Rock,

These are some great pics. Ice storms are NASTY causing all sorts of hell but they sure are beautiful. The pic with the close-up of the grass is fantastic.
Thanks for sharing them. Nice landscaping, by the way, I'll bet it looks great in the spring.

There was a bad one north of me a few years ago. No power for a long time becouse every pole was broken. I hope I never have to see that.

I just looked at them 5 mins. ago and now they are gone! The same thing happened with a vid I sent a fellow mountain biker, It disappeared off my blog and his copy also is gone.

It seems Wrokk has exceeded his bandwidth limit at Geocities. Try again tomorrow I guess. Geocities? come on you can do better than that. I would host then on my server if I could grab them.

Heh heh... I will host them someplace else later today when I get a second.

Installing suspended ceiling grid all day. We are about 1200sqft into about 2700sqft of it. Arms feel like f'in Jello.

Well, thank your lucky f'n stars, Timmy. My dermatologist has me on Dapsone right now for my chronic recurrent hidradenitis suppurativa (look it up - some folks might be eating right now ;;D ). It's primary use is to treat leprosy.
