Just last year it was only a 300 foot distance here in Detroit, but a 30 mile no-fly zone.

Pretty soon the Superbowl will be by invitation only!

And I'm sure in the not to distant future that if you want to watch your local team play on tv, there will be a sur-charge on the cable or satellite bill.

I'd like to see them try and ban tailgate parties at Lambeau Field. >:(

What the hell is Madden going to do before the game?
He is going to be pissed and hungry and what about the funny like 20 legged Turkey they always cook will it have to be done at another remote location?

I agree it's UNAmerican.

The only way they will change this is if NO ONE shows up.

Think that'll happen? Then they can do anything they want if people will keep paying for it.

That is just wrong...how can they charge people for eating or drinking on the streets? Wrong....just wrong.

Obviously, since the Dolphin Stadium has no control, and it's all up to the NFL, the NFL gets a major cut on all of the food and drink consumed in the stadium during the Super Bowl.

So, this Weis guy, with his RV, plasmas, who decided rather than spend money on the overpriced tickets to the game, just needs to park his RV one inch beyond the one mile limit, and party on!

How do I get in contact with him for an invitation? ;;D

Goddamn it; WTF is wrong there? Try enforcing no tailgating in Buffalo, and there will be a bloody street battle. Poles and Italians don't take this shit lying down unless it's the result of a tailgate party.

Football is ALL about the money. Nascar makes lots of money, but they are closer to their roots as entertainment for the average family that can't drop $250 on an afternoon.

We used to have a regatta event in the summer at Syracuse and it drew huge crowds back in the 80's.........until they started being politically correct and banned drinking and tailgating. They destroyed the event.
