I'm back!  ;;D

Sixteen days in hospital with no time off for good behaviour! Well.. okay so I didn't exactly behave myself but in my defence I have behaved worse  ::)

It wasn't a pleasant experience, it seems I was sicker than I thought I was and I nearly didn't make it home today but a spell of getting everyone swapping beds convinced them I wasn't sick enough to keep in.. That and changing the "nurses on duty" names on the dry wipe board to "Adolfand Eva" -  some people are sooo touchy..  ;;D

My white blood cell count is still low but it has risen a bit from where it was and my blood chemicals are still out of whack but I have lots of pills and potions and antibiotics so I really will recuperate as well at home if not better from here on in.

Thank you all so much for the messages, vibes, cards etc. Thinking of you all is what gave me the strength (and courage) to fight and I will admit it got pretty scary a couple of times but I'm back where I belong and it feels bloody brilliant!

It was the ones in the test tubes I think Flo... the clever ones stayed uphill from my elbow when they were drawing blood  ;)

I have no idea, I just know I had blood taken twice today so they could double check the counts before they'd let me go home - can you believe they even took my shoes 'cos they didn't trust me?? There is just no faith in human nature left in this world...

I'm so glad you're feeling better, but take all those meds the docs gave you.  You've gotta be in top shape for Richmond if you plan on playing doctor.  You do realize, don't you, that there will be a long, long line of patients begging for your "medical skills" (male mostly).   ;;D

A hospital in England reported today it has experianced the largest turnaround of emplyees in the counties history. And all in the last 16 days. Doctors and nurses have been seen fleeing from all entrances. Vending machines reportedly emptied of Root Beer.

The sad thing is the entire hospital staff is now at the psychiatric ward as inpatients and many have a terrible aversion to brooms now. ;;D

Try to get some rest before trying to sort this unruly crowd.
Sounds like you're an integral part of this dysfunctional family to which I am rather new.

I must say that if I didn't know you - and I was a nurse working in the adult field and you were my patient, I think it would be such a freaking blast (at least when you felt well enough to make your usual jokes and witty remarks...)...  When I read what you said about changing the nurse's name on the board (if that's real and not just what you're telling us to make you sound more evil!!!), well - if that were me, I would have bust out laughing.

But when all is said and done - I'm so very glad you are feeling better..........hope you keep getting better from here!!!

I miss you!!!!!!!!! (And I mean - you in person...not just you here!!)
