I finally got a chance to say hey as we have no power at my house for the 4th day with no end in sight. So, I wont be replying to this until internet and power is restored to my home, but send some prayers/vibes/heat/water my way if you don't mind.

It looks like my hometown got bombed by ice bombs. It is unreal.

not my hometown but within 30 miles and the devistation may be worse where I am.

Yes! You have made the national news! Actually, it kinda looks like a war zone down there, Fram........sorry you are dealing with all this!
Here in Oregon, all we have is a buncha snow and 24 deg temps....and we are whining, businesses are closing, accidents, jacknifed trucks and all sorts of chaos on our roadways...........

We don't do snow well on the West Coast.........but at least we don't have those horrid ice storms to deal with.
Stay warm, please, and check in when you can!

BTW- If you don't mind a little drive, there's always room at our place!

Wow. What a mess but you have my vibes and the like.

This looks very much like the icy mess that hit Buffalo this fall and helped redesign much of the city greenery and neighborhoods for that matter. It was something no one needs.

E, been there so I can definitely relate. I am very happy that you seem to be toughing it out, but I sincerely hope that you and your neighbors will make it through this without more pain and suffering then you have already endured!

All I can do from here is keep a warm and safe spot for you and yours in my heart and pray that mother nature gives you a break very soon.

IM HOME!!!!!

We got electricity last night at around 9:30 or so but my kids were asleep so I just got home a few minutes ago.

Off to take a shower!!!!!! Woohoo!

I'll have pictures later.... of the ice storm not the shower!

Glad you've got heat and light. I had to go through that for a 5 day period a few years ago. It wasn't pretty, especially since we're on a well and septic system. No power = no flushie = phewie!
